Role Overview

As a Customer Service Associate, you are based at the center of Amazon’s logistics system. Your day involves communicating directly with customers in person, as well as via phone and email, to resolve delivery challenges. When a customer needs to reschedule a delivery or an issue arises in the warehouse, you are the one who steps in to fix it straight away. You’ll develop deep logistical expertise and local knowledge, acting as a vital link between our associates, delivery partners, and the people we serve. This is a full-time, flexible role (40+ hours) that requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 49 pounds in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Job Requirements

To be successful as our next Customer Service Associate, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service and time management in dynamic environments.

  • Communication: Ability to compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Outlook, web browsers, and instant messenger tools.

  • Physical Ability: Able to lift/push/pull up to 49 lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule in varying temperatures and noise levels.

  • Pay: Starting pay for Tinton Falls, NJ is $18.00 – $25.00 USD hourly, depending on experience.
