Role Overview
In this pivotal Senior Sales Leader position, you will own the implementation of a comprehensive business development plan for North American Mobile Operator partners. Your daily journey involves gathering information from internal subject matter experts to synthesize technical concepts into compelling value propositions. As a Senior Sales Leader, you will manage complex contract negotiations and build strategic metrics that drive decision-making at the highest levels of Amazon. You will work cross-organizationally to ensure the Amazon Leo constellation successfully supports the broadband requirements of major carriers, all while maintaining a programmatic approach to high-stakes strategic initiatives.
Job Requirements
To be successful as our next Senior Sales Leader, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Experience: 6+ years in business development, alliances management, or sales within the Space/Telecom sectors.
Technical Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Mobile Operator network technology and commercial frameworks.
Export Control: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or have refugee/asylum status due to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Strategy: Proven ability to perform complex business case analysis to justify technical decisions to senior management.
Leadership: Experience building products or services from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
Location: Based in Bellevue, WA, Arlington, VA, or virtually near an Amazon corporate office.
