Raytheon, an RTX business, is seeking a High-Impact Strategic Software CPT Lead to spearhead the Taiwan Surveillance Radar Program (SRP). Based onsite in Woburn, MA, you will lead an elite workforce of software engineers dedicated to providing world-class missile defense and surveillance capabilities.

In this role, Software CPT Lead will manage the cost, schedule, and technical performance of four agile scrum teams, ensuring our radar systems remain ahead of tomorrow’s threats. With a salary range of $132,400 – $251,600, this position offers the opportunity to drive DevSecOps innovation at the world’s largest aerospace and defense company.
Ideal Candidate
The perfect Software CPT Lead is a seasoned professional who combines technical excellence with mastery of Earned Value Management (EVM). We are looking for an individual with a STEM degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale system architecture or software leadership. As a Software CPT Lead, you must hold an RTX EV Certification and possess the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
The ideal candidate is an Agile Scrum expert who can mentor teams through complex architectural designs while maintaining a laser focus on risk and opportunity management. If you are a U.S. citizen with a track record of leading technical solutions for the DoD, Software CPT Lead are the leader we need for this mission-critical role.
Role Overview
As the Software CPT Lead, you are the primary architect of execution for the Taiwan SRP software team. Your daily responsibilities include managing the architectural design and sustainment of integrated radar data processing applications. Software CPT Lead will work closely with stakeholders to align team priorities with the software build plan, ensuring that troubleshooting and new capability development stay on track.
As a Software CPT Lead, you will also own the staffing plans and status reporting to the PMO and U.S. Government. From coordinating new business development to presenting Estimates at Complete (EACs) to leadership, your role is pivotal in maintaining Raytheon’s century-long legacy of engineering expertise.

Job Requirements
To be successful as our next Software CPT Lead, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Bachelor’s of Science in STEM; minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Certifications: RTX Earned Value (EV) Certification is required; Raytheon PM Level 6 preferred.
Technical Expertise: Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe, and DevSecOps frameworks.
Security: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start.
Management: Proven experience in oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance for multiple software teams.
Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure, and Jenkins is highly preferred.
Location: This is a 100% onsite role in Woburn, MA.
